Golf Lessons Online - Can it be Done?

Is it really possible to provide a golf lesson online?

Absolutely! But not the way you think.

Let me explain. But first I have to pose a question?

Why do you want a golf lesson in the first place? Is it because you want to improve your golf?
What if I could provide you with some insights (online) that have the power to transform your golf game almost overnight? Would you regard that as a golf lesson?

OK. I know you're skeptical - so here goes.

Your First Online Golf Lesson

The process of golf improvement is NOT about going out onto the golf range and endlessly belting balls with some vague notion of "working on your technique". In fact, that process may be doing more harm than good. The answer to golf improvement is actually much easier, much simpler and takes a lot less time.

You are still skeptical.....right?

OK. What if I told you that the leading golfers on the PGA Tour are being taught a much more effective method of golf improvement? Would you like to know about that method? I know you are still skeptical, but bear with me anyhow. This wont take much longer. I will be quick. A golf lesson should take no more than half an hour...right?

Here is the formula for golf improvement. It is called the FOUR TRAINING FACTORS. These are:

The Four Training Factors

TECHNIQUE
MENTAL
PHYSICAL
STRATEGIC

A golfer improves only by improving in ONE OR MORE of these areas.....and here is the clincher! It is probably NOT about TECHNIQUE. So, when you are out belting practice balls you are "vaguely" working on TECHNIQUE....right. But, if the truth be known, you are probably not even doing justice to that. More importantly however, your fastest path to improvement probably lies in one of the other TRAINING FACTORS.

I will give you an example. If you are desk bound all week or sit behind a computer screen , then it is likely that your body is not capable of getting into the optimum positions in regard to TECHNIQUE. In fact, your fastest way to golf improvement, in this case, may lie in the PHYSICAL area. In other words, you will probably benefit more by doing some flexibility exercises throughout the week and focusing on your physical conditioning.

Are you starting to get the picture?

You see, these principles have been applied to Olympic athletes in other sports for many years. It is only relatively recently that these methods have been taught to the PGA Tour players. Certainly they are still NOT being taught to recreational golfers. Right?

You see, the vast majority of golfers who receive lessons around the country are receiving lessons on TECHNIQUE. These have their place. However, if the objective is GOLF IMPROVEMENT then these technique lessons are probably not the fastest way to golf improvement.

So, did you learn anything? Do you think this information might just improve your golf?

If the answer is YES to either of the above questions then

You have just had an ONLINE GOLF LESSON.

And to think you were skeptical! Tut Tut :-)

Good golfing,
